Big Thanks to Marie Welsh who brought her Famous Homemade Chili. It was DELICIOUS, a number of the gang went back for a 2nd bowl. She had all the fix'ens - Cheese, Onions, Fritos for dipping in Salsa, a Cheese spread for Taco Chips and a Pound Cake for dessert. O&H Kringle served as a snack.

Del was an outstanding Horlick & Racine Red Birds 2nd baseman. He also played Fast Pitch Ball with the best team in Racine and some Pillow Ball along the way.

Union Grove senior guard Carolyn May (3) drives to basket pass New Berlin player in a non-conference game. May added points and seven rebounds in the Bronco’s 76-64 victory.
Carolyn is the youngest of Dan '85/Helen's four kids. Their oldest son, Teddy, played buckets and pitched Baseball (conference player of the year) for Prairie. He graduated last year in Biomedical Engineering from U of Minnesota. Jamie, a Nursing senior at Xavier U. set a "digs" career record on Prairie's Volleyball team. Charlie played baseball, soccer and basketball (2nd at State his senior year) at Prairie. He's now an Actuary freshman at Drake.

Don Heck '63 diagnosed with NOH (neurogenic orthostatic hypotension). After 3 or 4 minutes of standing, he gets very weak and light header. This disease is not curable but you can learn to adjust your life and work around the issues.

Girls Basketball
In a Metro Classic Conference game on Tuesday night, the Angels girls basketball team hosted Catholic Central. The scoring started early and often and remained that way the entire game. The Angels also played exceptional on defense as they only allowed 7 points from the Hilltoppers in the 2nd half. When the final buzzer blew, the Angels were able to walk away with an impressive 75-30 victory. Aniyah Price led all scorers on the night with 24 points. Kennedee Clark added 18 points and 9 rebounds while Laila Collier-White had 16 points.
For the second straight game the Angels offense was firing on all cylinders as they were able to put up 70 points in back to back games. Traveling to face off against intra-city opponent Racine Horlick, the Angels scored early and often as they were able to defeat the Rebels 78-42. Aniyah Price led all scorers with 24 points while Laila Collier-White added 20, Kaleah Conley had 12 and Kennedee Clark had 10. Clark and Conley were each able to record a double-double by adding 11 and 10 rebounds respectively.
Saturday afternoon the girls basketball team traveled to Kenosha St. Joseph for a Metro Classic Conference girls basketball game. Great offense and even better defense led the Angels to a 67-55 victory. Aniyah Price capped off a fantastic week as she scored 25 points. Laila Collier-White had 14 and Ariana Green added 10. Kennedee Clark led the team with 10 rebounds.
Boys Basketball
Monday night the Angels boys basketball team had a rare opportunity to play on an NBA court as they traveled to the Fiserv Forum to face off against Prescott. This match was poised to be a phenomenal boys basketball team as it pitted the #3 ranked team in Prescott and the #5 ranked team in St. Cat’s in division 3. From the opening tip-off the Angels played fantastic team basketball and converted with a high level of consistency as they were able to defeat the Cardinals of Prescott 74-31. Evan Moherek led all scorers with 19 points, Lamont Hamilton and Domonic Pitts each had 15 while Davion Thomas-Kumpula had 9. Isaiah Wray led all rebounders with 12 rebounds.
Playing their 2nd game in as many days, the Angels traveled to Catholic Central on Tuesday night. The team started out slow but was able to build a 28-17 lead at halftime. After halftime the team made some defensive adjustments and started to score more regularly on offense as they were able to pull away and defeat the Hilltoppers 60-41. Dominic Pitts led the team with 20 points while Evan Moherek added 18.
Friday night in front of a packed crowd the Angels faced off against Metro Classic Conference opponent Kenosha St. Joseph. The game was close early, but efficient offense and great defense propelled the Angels to a 69-50 victory. On the night the Angels recorded 19 assists and shot an impressive 52% from the field. Leading the way was Evan Moherek with 23 points while Davion Thomas-Kumpula and Domonic Pitts each added 16 points. Terrion Glass-Barnes led the way with 6 assists, while Evan Moherek had 5 and Davion Thomas-Kumpula had 4. Pitts was able to lead all rebounders with 5 rebounds, while Thomas-Kumpula had 5 and Isaiah Wray and Elijah Wray each had 4.

The St. Catherines/Lutheran/Catholic Central wrestling team did not have any events this week.
Cheer/Poms
At Friday's boys basketball game 63 young boys and girls performed at halftime with the cheer/poms team. Everyone did a fantastic job and had a great time. Thank you to our cheer/poms team for this great evening and creating a lifelong memory for these young kids.
Boys Swim
Tuesday night the PSC Aquatics team traveled to Burlington for a double dual with Edgerton/Evansville and Burlington. PSC was able to defeat Edgerton/Evansville 80-77 but fell to Burlington 117-49. On the night 4 new team records were set. Those records included 1st place finishes in the 200 butterfly (55.59) by Jack Borzynski and the 200 freestyle relay (1:39.57) team of Borzynski, Timothy Peterson, Nolan Mrotek and Nathan Breit. Also setting team records was the 200 medley relay (1:49.83) team of Breit, Peterson, Borzynski and Alex Waite. That same relay team set a team record in the 400 freestyle relay (3:58.49) as well. Other high finishes of the night included Borzynski taking 1st in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:12.68.
