From the Gang at the Alumni House.............




Owners are Dan DuMont and his wife Geri Rodgers '79 SCHS grad. In retirement they will spend time enjoying family - daughter Jena '02. Son Jason '06 was a standout athlete at SCHS in football and basketball. Jason played his collegiate football at Northern Michigan and also with the Racine Raiders. We all will miss the good times and friendly atmosphere at Dewey's. We wish them all the best in retirement.

* Student Trip..........

We have a group of kids traveling this summer to Ecuador and are raising funds to help offset the costs for students and their families. We are trying to do several small fundraisers, but this is our very first one. This week only, we are selling Spirit Wear Apparel. I have included the link below. Angel Athletics -

Racine St. Catherine’s Home Game Protocols and Procedures


All tickets must be purchased ahead of time at http://spicket.events/schsangels

  1. Ticket sales will open 1 week prior to each event

  2. Ticket sales close at 2:00pm the day of the event for varsity football games as well as JV2/JV/Varsity boys basketball games. Any individual(s) not purchasing tickets by 2:00pm will not be allowed into the game

  3. Tickets can be printed at home to be scanned at the event or shown in the Ticket Spicket app on cellular devices to be scanned. NO SCREENSHOTS ACCEPTED

  4. Gates/entrance close 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the varsity event. Anyone not in the game at this time will not be allowed in

  5. Refunds will only be issued for ticket purchases if the event is canceled

  6. No re-entry to the event, once you leave you will not be allowed back in

  7. All middle/elementary school students must be with an adult

  8. Metro Classic Conference passes are still allowed at the gate for Metro Classic Conference games only, no digital ticket required. For Non-Conference Games, Metro Classic Conference passes are not accepted and a digital ticket is required

  9. 6 and under are free, no digital ticket required.

  10. St. Catherine’s students are free with school ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required

  11. Siena employees are free with ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required

ANGEL ATHLETICS..................

Girls Basketball (2-10 Overall, 0-5 Metro Classic Conference)

Wednesday the Angels traveled to UW-Parkside to participate in the Doctors of Physical Therapy Holiday Classic against Racine Case. The Angels had a lead at halftime and late in the game, unfortunately they couldn’t hold off the Eagles as they were defeated 65-62. Laila Collier-White had the best game of her high school career as she scored 33 points, hauled in 8 rebounds and had 3 assists. Aniyah Price added 12 points and 5 rebounds and Kaleah Conley had 6 points and a team high 14 rebounds.


The Angels traveled to Elkhorn on Friday for a non-conference matchup. The Angels played well and fought their hardest, unfortunately it wasn’t enough as the Elks were able to defeat the Angels 78-47. Kaleah Conley led the way with 16 points and 7 rebounds. Laila Collier-White added 15 points and 6 rebounds and Aniyah Price had 7 points.


Saturday the Angels finished out their week as they traveled back to UW-Parkside for a game against Kenosha Indian Trail. Indian Trails speed and how scoring offense were to much for the Angels to handle as the Angels were defeated 82-45. Laila Collier-White led the team with 13 points, Aniyah Price and Emmerson Davidovic had 9 and Kaleah Conley had 7.


Boys Basketball (4-6 Overall, 3-1 Metro Classic Conference)

Thursday afternoon the Angels traveled to Concordia University to participate in the Rick Majerus Wisconsin Basketball Yearbook Shootout against Mount Horeb. The Angels played well against Mount Horeb, who is ranked 6th in Division 2, however in the end the Angels didn’t have enough as they were defeated 72-53. Eddie Vinson led the team with 20 points and Lamont Hamilton had 16.


Saturday night the Angels traveled to Carthage to face off against Kenosha Indian Trail. The Angels put together a complete game and were able to end their 4 game losing streak as they defeated Indian Trail 77-55. Lamont Hamilton led the way with 33 points, Eddie Vinson added 23 and Adreyon Contreras-Ward had 10.


Wrestling

Wrestling had no events this week. Their next event is a quad at Ozaukee on January 4th


Swimming

Swim had no events this week. Their next event is a double dual at Whitewater on January 9th
