  • Rick Jones had successful stomach surgery, now will be receiving immunotherapy every three weeks.

  • Jack Kelley had his throat Cancer return, he too will have immunotherapy every six weeks.

  • Dan Peterson is scheduled for Hip Replacement Feb 7th.

  • Bob Letsch happy with Lazer treatments - some positive results but his balance has been affected - 2 more treatments.

  • Peg Graceffa - Dick '69 wife will be released from Froedtert Rehab Hospital yesterday. She can now walk short distances without her walker. The belt around her waist will be permanent. A retired nurse from Froedtert will come to the house to help Peg shower and do some exercises. She's doing much better than a month ago.

  • Bob McKee former guidance counselor at Park HS and father of SCHS teacher Rob McKee is rehabbing from LF & RT Ankle Surgeries

  • John Miller '56 Hip Replacement Surgery postponed, doctors think he 1st needs a Pacemaker

  • Dick Heidenreich broken leg is healing in Rehab

  • UPDATE: Mike Ptaschinski '68 - attacked by two pit bulls in my own garage last week. Was bitten on the outer right knee during the first go-round. Then they came back again. Only thing that saved me from another bite was a handsaw I grabbed nearby.  Puncture wounds, plus dog is not vaccinated for rabies, so I'm on the rabies protocol. Dogs did not have rabies - "if Linda notices Mike foaming at the mouth, she's gonna lock him up in the backyard and rent the movie "Old Yeller." - A wife's compassion !!!

St Catherine's ANGELS..................

Feb 12th - Feb 17th


Girls Basketball (6-18 Overall, 2-12 Metro Classic Conference)

Tuesday night the Angels traveled to Dominican to finish off their Metro Classic Conference schedule. The Angels played very well, however Dominican would pull away late to defeat the Angels 69-42. Laila Collier-White led the way with 15 points, Kaleah Conley had 13, Aniyah Price had 7 and Emmerson Davidovic had 6.

Friday night the girls basketball team finished out their regular season at home against Burlington on parents/senior night. The team would give the crowd a great game and make their parents proud as they defeated the Demons 66-59. Laila Collier-White led the way for the Angels with 25 points while Kaleah Conley added 19 and Aniyah Price had 13.


Boys Basketball (12-11 Overall, 7-6 Metro Classic Conference)

In a Metro Classic Conference game Thursday night, the Angels hosted the Dominican Knights. Both teams played an incredibly competitive game and as the Angels managed to slow down the high power Knights offense. Unfortunately for the Angels they were defeated by the Knights 67-60. Lamont Hamilton led the Angels with 30 points, Eddie Vinson had 10 points and Javion Herron had 8 points.

Saturday the Angels boys basketball team traveled to Two Rivers for their last non-conference game of the year. The Angels played extremely well and cruised to a 69-31 win. Lamont Hamilton led the way with 16 points, DaRon Robinson added 11 and Eddie Vinson and Tim Davis each had 7.


Wrestling (12-17 overall, 1-2 Metro Classic Conference)

On Saturday, seven St. Catherine’s/Lutheran wrestlers traveled to Wilmot High School with the hopes of advancing to the individual state wrestling tournament in Madison next week. Unfortunately for the Angels their season would end shorter than hoped as none would advance. Daire Hankins led the way for the Angels at 132 pounds as he went 2-1 and finished in 3rd place. Demacio Trujillo went 1-2 with 1 pin to finish in 4th and Sophia Reeser went 1-1 at 138 pounds.


Swimming

Friday night the PSC Aquatics team traveled to Waukesha South for the state swim meet. The team performed phenomenal and finished 11th out of 32 teams and sent 2 swimmers to the podium. Below are results of the individuals and relay teams.

Cheer

Saturday the cheer team traveled to Hartford High School to participate in cheer regionals in hopes of advancing to State. The Angels cheer team performed extremely well and qualified for State in cheer dance!!! Congratulations to the team and coaches.

Home Game Protocols and Procedures


Racine St. Catherine’s Home Game Protocols and Procedures


  1. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time at http://spicket.events/schsangels, no cash will be accepted at the gate

  2. Ticket sales will open 1 week prior to each event

  3. Ticket sales close at 2:00pm the day of the event for varsity football games as well as JV2/JV/Varsity boys basketball games. Any individual(s) not purchasing tickets by 2:00pm will not be allowed into the game

  4. Tickets can be printed at home to be scanned at the event or shown in the Ticket Spicket app on cellular devices to be scanned. NO SCREENSHOTS ACCEPTED

  5. Gates/entrance close 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the varsity event. Anyone not in the game at this time will not be allowed in

  6. Refunds will only be issued for ticket purchases if the event is canceled

  7. No re-entry to the event, once you leave you will not be allowed back in

  8. All middle/elementary school students must be with an adult

  9. Metro Classic Conference passes are still allowed at the gate for Metro Classic Conference games only, no digital ticket required. For Non-Conference Games, Metro Classic Conference passes are not accepted and a digital ticket is required

  10. 6 and under are free, no digital ticket required.

  11. St. Catherine’s students are free with school ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required

  12. Siena employees are free with ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required
