• Marie Welsh also dropped off a St. Mary's pennant. Bob Letsch played basketball and baseball at St. Mary's in San Antonio TX. Zach Prideaux will be hanging the Rattler pennant in his classroom along with his college pennant collection.
• Packer Pool winner this week was everyone - Pack had a Bye week.
Gary Schonert was happy his Bears didn't lose this week - also had a Bye !!!
Interesting that Gary was not wearing any of his Bear apparel today???
• Cribbage: Table #1 Teams - George Gordon/ Tim Letsch beat up on Bob Letsch/ Dan DeMatthew - the final standings were not reported.
Table #2: Bobby Letsch Jr/ CWood jumped off to a great start "Skunking" their apponents Dave Banjamin/ Joe Macareno in the 1st game - 2nd game they won as well. In the end Banjamin/Macareno prevailed, winning 5-4. Bobby Letsch struggled going 0-0-2-0-3-0-0 in successive hands - his cribs consisted of 1-0-0-2-2-0-0-0. This was not just in one game but most of the games. He wasn't pegging any better. He did have one 20-pt hand. After losing two games in a row, he wanted to play best of 5. Unsuccessful and losing, he then wanted to play best of 9. Unsuccessful again, he then wanted to play best of 15. Guys said NO !!!
Side Notes:
• In one game in which they won - Benjamin/Macareno pegged 28 pts - UNHEARD OF !!!
• Joe Macareno provided some interesting play - Joe PASSED on 18 ??? WHAT !!!
• One hand Joe played his hand using cards from the crib - very very very confusing----
"All in All" - Good for a few laughs.
• Christmas is just around the corner. Perfect Santa for your family Christmas Party. Great with the grandkids !!! None other than "Jingle Bells Joe"
