Tyrese Hunter '21, the starting point guard for the Texas Longhorns, stopped by the John Bryant Center the other day for a pick-up game. Unfortunately, he found instead some old Angels playing Pickle Ball. Tyrese and his Longhorn team were 1 game away from making the NCAA Final Four this weekend in Men's Basketball.

Don Heck '63 diagnosed with NOH (neurogenic orthostatic hypotension). After 3 or 4 minutes of standing, he gets very weak and light header. This disease is not curable but you can learn to adjust your life and work around the issues.
Don Heck in addition to his above health issues - visiting family in Florida - now has Covid and is in the hospital with pneumonia.
Tommy Pulda '72 rehabbing Heart Surgery after valve replacement surgery. Tom is in Florida with family and doing well.
Mary Woitach '59 dealing with chronic knee issues & fell recently at home. - Rumor -Not true about Joe pushing her aside to get to the refrigerator.
Marie Welsh fell on the ice recently and is using a cane - nothing broken.
Dave O'Brien '58 recovering from eye surgery.
Joe Ingrasci '64 dealing with tremors, the result of his service in Vietnam.

Dick Peterson had hip replacement surgery due to a recent fall on the ice. All went well, he will now go to rehab.

Friday night the Angels track and field team returned to UW-Parkside to participate in the Southeast Wisconsin Indoor Championship hosted by Racine Case. Overall the Angels performed well as the boys finished 11th out of 16 teams and the girls finished 11th out of 13 teams. Abel Mulder was the high performer of the day as he took 1st in the shotput with a throw of 50 feet 5 inches. Caylene Von-Schilling Worth also scored points in the shotput as she finished 4th with a throw of 31 feet 5.5 inches. Jayvion Hunter finished 5th in the 200 meter dash with a time of 23.56 seconds and 6th in the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.73 seconds. In the 55 meter hurdles Tristan Ropiak finished 8th as he crossed the finish line in 9.08 seconds and Christian Cervantes earned 8th in the long jump with a jump of 19 feet 2 inches.
Girls Soccer
Saturday the Angels girls soccer team opened up their season at Pritchard Park as they hosted Catholic Memorial. The girls played their hardest and battled the elements, but ultimately Catholic Memorial proved to be too difficult to handle as the Angels dropped their season opener 13-0.
