Hello Siena Community,
I am thrilled to announce that Mr. Jon Baffico has accepted the role of Siena’s Chief Academic Officer and will be joining us full-time on July 1, 2025. Jon brings nearly three decades of experience in education as an administrator, teacher, and coach, including 24 years in the Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic schools and 15 years in administrative leadership.
Most recently serving as the principal of Saint Viator High School in Arlington Heights, Illinois, Jon successfully led the school to a Blue Ribbon award and implemented programs that enhanced student achievement and faculty development. His passion for Catholic education is evident in his dedication to fostering student growth, academic excellence, and faith formation.
A proven leader in urban and suburban middle and high schools, Jon’s extensive background in curriculum development and implementation, as well as his reliance on and analysis of data trends, make him a fantastic fit for Siena Catholic Schools. Moreover, his dedication to his Catholic faith in both his personal and professional life and his passion for Catholic education truly show how well-suited he is for this critical role.
Beyond his professional career, Jon and his wife Tiffani have three children. Jon enjoys staying active, mentoring educators, and supporting youth programs. His decision to join Siena Catholic Schools stems from his deep belief in Catholic faith-based education and his commitment to shaping future generations through a mission-driven approach. He looks forward to leading with vision, purpose, and a heart for Catholic education.
Please join me in welcoming Jon to the Siena team!
Sincerely,
Dr. Sue Savaglio-Jarvis
President, Siena Catholic Schools of Racine
