Track and FieldThe Angels were represented by Caylene Von-Schilling Worth on Friday at the WIAA State Meet at UW-LaCrosse. Caylene represented the Angels proudly as she set a new school record and finished in 5th place with a throw of 38 feet 7.25 inches. Caylene is also only the 2nd female athlete to score points at the state meet since 2001 when St. Catherine’s joined the WIAA. |
Girls Soccer (0-18 Overall, 0-7 Metro Classic Conference)Thursday night the Angels soccer team traveled to Lake Country Lutheran for a WIAA regional soccer game. Lake Country Lutheran proved why they are looking to make a deep run into the playoffs as they started off hot by scoring 4 goals in the first 20 minutes on their way to a 10-0 victory over the Angels. Maggie Westfall had 19 saves in the game. With those 19 saves, Maggie recorded 295 saves on the season which is a new single season school record. |
Boys GolfTuesday two individuals from the St. Catherine’s/Lutheran golf team traveled to Oakwood to participate in WIAA Sectionals with the chance to go to state on the line. The golfers performed well, unfortunately it wasn’t enough to move on to state. Maddox Matson led the way shooting a 91 and Finn Crawford shot a 111. |
