Out & About..............
Jerry Jardina '61 & wife Linda were at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale AZ Friday. They had tickets in Greenkeeper's area. Their son Steve '93, got the tickets which were all inclusive: food, drinks, entertainment, desserts. Wall to wall people. Prices were unbelievable. Used to pay $40 for general admission, now $100. Their tickets were $300 and sold out every day. They could hear the roar of the crowd from hole #16 with the surround gallery.

my fifties, I was considered eccentric. Here I am doing and saying the
same things I did then, and I’m labeled senile." - George Burns

forget." – Unknown

everyone, but the idea of getting old doesn’t appeal to anyone.” -
Andy Rooney
“The older I get, the better I used to be.” – Lee Trevino
"You know you’re getting old when you can pinch an inch on your
forehead." - John Mendoza
"I was thinking about how people seem to read the Bible a lot more as
they get older, and then it dawned on me—they’re cramming for their
final exam."- George Carlin

you know?"- Barry Cryer

John/Helen Miller Update: from Jenny (Miller) Hovan
For those unaware my parents have both been struggling more than usual (in more ways than one) these past few months.
My mom is now in her 4th month in memory care at St. Monica's and my dad has been struggling at home with a compression fracture (as well as missing her terribly).
The past couple of weeks my mom has been in/out of the hospital with blood clots and a high fever. My dad had 3 procedures to alleviate his pain and is now recovering at St. Monica's and receiving PT.
Prayers from family and friends are always welcome and appreciated,
