St Catherine's "ANGEL" Athletics..................

Track and Field

Thursday night the Angels track and field team traveled to Union Grove for the Racine County Invite. The Angels gave everything they had and had multiple personal records as the girls finished 6th overall and the boys finished 9th. Below are results of athletes that earned points for the team.

Softball (7-3 Overall, 4-3 Metro Classic Conference)

Tuesday afternoon the Angels hosted St. Thomas More in a Metro Classic Conference matchup. The Angels offense was able to jump on Cavalier pitching in the 1st inning and they wouldn’t look back as they defeated the Cavaliers 23-1. Aniesa Neave led the way going 3-3 with a triple and 5 RBI’s. Emmerson Davidovic went 2-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI’s and Loretta Ochoa went 2-2 with a double and 3 RBI’s. Isabel Sanchez and Londyn Pardo each added 2 RBI’s as well. Annika Munoz had a great day on the mound only giving up 1 run with 4 strikeouts.

The Angels traveled to St. Thomas More on Thursday in a rematch of Tuesdays game. The Angels played a very clean game and scored runs in each inning as they were able to defeat the Cavaliers 15-0. Aniesa Neave led the way at the plate going 2-3 with a double and 3 RBI’s. Londyn Pardo also went 2-3 with an RBI while Cristina Murguia added 2 RBI’s. On the mound Annika Munoz had a career night as she allowed no hits and no walks with 5 strikeouts.

Friday afternoon the Angels hosted Milwaukee Bradley Tech in a non-conference matchup. This afternoon was a special one as the team invited the 1993 state championship softball team to the game. The alumni, including players and coaches, that were in attendance were treated to a great afternoon of softball, including seeing the Angels play in replica 1993 softball jerseys. When all was said and done, the Angels cruised to a 15-0 victory behind a perfect game on the mound from Annika Munoz. In a 3 inning game, Munoz gave up no hits and no walks and struck out all 9 batters she faced. At the plate Aniesa Neave led the team going 3-3 with a triple and 4 RBI’s. Adding to the offense was Londyn Pardo and Mandy Deschler who each went 1-2 with 2 RBI’s.


Baseball (1-9 Overall, 1-7 Metro Classic Conference)

Monday afternoon the Angels hosted former Metro Classic opponent Catholic Central in a non-conference game. The Angel gave up 5 runs in the 1st inning but would battle to cut the game to 5-4 late. Unfortunately for the Angels they wouldn’t overcome the early deficit as they were defeated by the Hilltoppers 6-4. Issac Cantu led the Angels going 2-4 with an RBI. Mariano Talamantez, Marvid Sanches and Nate Callis each added a hit. Stephen Straszewski would account for 2 RBI’s and Marvid Sanchez had 1.

Tuesday night at Horlick Field the Angels would host the St. Thomas More Cavaliers. The Angels played well, unfortunately the Cavaliers jumped out to an early lead and the Angels couldn’t recover as they were defeated 14-3. Mariano Talamantez led the Angels at the plate going 1-3 with 2 RBI’s. Jonathan Peterson went 1-2 with an RBI and Issac Cantu and Devlyn Kellogg each added a hit.

In a Metro Classic Conference matchup Thursday night at St. Thomas More the Angels baseball team found themselves down early and they couldn’t rebound as they were defeated 22-5. Jonathan Peterson led the team with a double and an RBI. Issac Cantu, Marvid Sanchez and Nate Callis each had an RBI. Mariano Talamantez added a double and Travion Thompson had a hit.


Girls Soccer (0-8 Overall, 0-4 Metro Classic Conference)

Monday the Angels girls soccer team traveled across town to face off against the Case Eagles. Maggie Westfall had a great game in the goal box and Macieana Trujillo scored the first goal of the season for the Angels. Unfortunately it wouldn’t be enough as the Angels were defeated 4-1.

Wednesday night the Angels hosted Shoreland Lutheran in a Metro Classic Conference matchup. The Angels gave everything they had unfortunately it wasn’t enough as the Pacers would defeat them 10-0.

The Angels gave their best effort Friday night as they traveled to Whitnall High School to face off against Pius XI, unfortunately in the end it wouldn’t be enough as they were defeated 10-0.


Boys Tennis (0-5 Overall, 0-1 Metro Classic Conference)

Wednesday the St. Catherine’s/Lutheran boys tennis team traveled to Kenosha Bradford for a triangular with Bradford and Milwaukee Reagan. The boys played well and their skills continue to improve, unfortunately they were defeated in each match 7-0. The doubles teams of Gabe Beversdorf/Sebastian Beversforf and Albert Holewinski/Adriel Flores each won 3 games, while in singles competition Asher Goodwin and Henry Randolph each won a game.

Saturday the Angels traveled across town to Racine Case to participate in the Racine County Boys Tennis Invite. The team performed their best of the year. Even though they didn’t earn a victory, many positives occurred for the team and they continue to develop their skills. In their first match, the Angels lost to Racine Horlick/Park 3-2. In singles competition Dominic Marni defeated his opponent 6-2, 6-1. In doubles competition, Gabe Beversdorf/Sebastian Beversdorf defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-0. In their 2nd match of the day the Angels fell to The Prairie School 6-0. In singles competition Asher Goodwin won 4 games while in doubles competition Gabe Beversdorf/Sebastian Beversdorf and Adriel Flores/Cameron Krencisz each won 3 games. The most exciting match of the day occurred for the doubles team of Dominic Marni/Albert Holewinski. Even though they were defeated, they pushed their opponents to the brink in a 6-4, 1-6, 8-10 match.


Boys Golf

Wednesday the boys golf team traveled to Ives Grove for a Metro Classic Conference double mini meet. It was a cold and windy day, however the Angel golfers performed very well as they finished in 5th place overall. Finn Crawford led the way for the Angels with a 102 while Maddox Matson was right behind him with a 105.

The St. Catherine’s/Lutheran boys golf team traveled to the Broadlands on Saturday to participate in the Crusader Invite. It was a windy day which made for difficult shots, however the Angels played well as they finished in 21st place. Maddox Matson led the team with a 100, Carsen Naidl shot a 114 and Finn Crawford was right behind with a 116.

2024 Summer Camps

  • Boys Speed and Strength Camp- Open to boys entering grades 4th-8th in 2024-2025. Camp runs from June 11th-July 18th. Registration deadline is June 9th, 2024

  • Boys Basketball Camp- Open to boys entering grades 4th-9th in 2024-2025. Camp runs from June 17th-June 20th. Registration deadline is June 12th, 2024

  • Girls Basketball Camp- Open to girls entering grades 4th-9th in 2024-2025. Camp runs from July 15th-July 18th. Registration deadline is July 10th, 2023

  • Speed and Strength Summer School Class- This class is offered during summer school for .25 credits. It is open to any students that will be in 9th-12th grade at St. Catherine's for the 2024-2025 school year. Sign up for the class at this link

Home Game Protocols and Procedures

Racine St. Catherine’s Home Game Protocols and Procedures


  1. All tickets must be purchased ahead of time at http://spicket.events/schsangels, no cash will be accepted at the gate

  2. Ticket sales will open 1 week prior to each event

  3. Ticket sales close at 2:00pm the day of the event for varsity football games as well as JV2/JV/Varsity boys basketball games. Any individual(s) not purchasing tickets by 2:00pm will not be allowed into the game

  4. Tickets can be printed at home to be scanned at the event or shown in the Ticket Spicket app on cellular devices to be scanned. NO SCREENSHOTS ACCEPTED

  5. Gates/entrance close 30 minutes after the scheduled start time of the varsity event. Anyone not in the game at this time will not be allowed in

  6. Refunds will only be issued for ticket purchases if the event is canceled

  7. No re-entry to the event, once you leave you will not be allowed back in

  8. All middle/elementary school students must be with an adult

  9. Metro Classic Conference passes are still allowed at the gate for Metro Classic Conference games only, no digital ticket required. For Non-Conference Games, Metro Classic Conference passes are not accepted and a digital ticket is required

  10. 6 and under are free, no digital ticket required.

  11. St. Catherine’s students are free with school ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required

  12. Siena employees are free with ID, no digital ticket required. If no ID, a purchased ticket will be required
